CampervanCo joins forces with Hertfordshire-based Carefree Campers
June 2023, Hertfordshire. Family owned Campervan enthusiasts, Carefree Campers are partnering with Scotland-based Eco Camper manufacturers CampervanCo, to bring custom built EV electric, hybrid and high-quality petrol campervans to the region.
From their Herfordshire base in Hemel Hempstead, Carefree Campers will be adding eco-friendly campervans to their portfolio to recognise that more and more people are looking to combine environmental awareness with their leisure activities.
CampervanCo introduced the world’s first Hybrid campervan back in 2016 and then the highly innovative plug-in Ford Transit PHEV Evolution in 2022. This year, they introduced the world’s first modular, all-electric campervan, based on the Electric Toyota Proace. The ground-breaking Toyota REVOLUTION is family car, four-berth deluxe campervan and a seven-seater minibus all-in-one – and you get all this without emitting any CO2 or fumes! They also import and customise high quality Toyota Hybrids such as the Alphard and the forthcoming Estima Escape with Lithium leisure batteries that are topped-up by solar panels to provide over a week’s off-grid power for cooking, refrigeration, USB-charging that enables campers to plug-in 240v appliances wherever you go.
